Chacanaca said she and other sports enthusiasts would like to bring paintball into the high schools. The best team representative could be sent to a national competition.
ColorSplash Paintball is open from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.
The field is open from 10 a.m. to dusk Saturday and Sunday, and will open for groups by appointment during the week. Cost is $20 for full-day entry and equipment rental. The fees for carbon dioxide and high-pressure air are included in the cost. For more information or to make field reservations, call 544-1560.
